About Phillip Zwirchmayr

I started playing drums at nine, took my first lessons at eleven and joined a marching band at twelve. I’ve led my own bands since I was fifteen, studied jazz at the conservatory and have worked as a freelancer since eighteen: ska, reggae, polka, cover bands, theater, dinner variety shows and kids’ music. In my thirties I added music production. Today I record drums remotely for artists, bands and composers, and I compose for my own band DUSK. Whatever the style, I play for the song.
